Skrimshaw is a contemporary folk trio of Kade Bissell, Katie Wasko and Kris Yenney, blending original songs with traditional, folk, and classical influences. Their eclectic instrumentation includes fiddle, hammered dulcimer, nyckleharpa, cello, wind chimes and many more. Skrimshaw aims to create music that tells stories in a way that feels both heartfelt and timeless. After years in Alaska, Kade and Katie recently settled in the Rogue Valley, carrying their northern roots into every performance.
